Okay. I’ll admit it, I’m a pretty hardcore Erick Castro fan. 🤘🏻 I somewhat obsessively listen to his rad podcast and am just in awe of his stellar career. This cocktail of his is a fantastic modern classic, and one I often have ingredients ready for when people are over for a cocktail night. It’s a always hit—a go-to people pleaser fo sho.

KENTUCKY BUCK
2 oz Bourbon
1 Ripe Strawberry
0.75 oz Lemon Juice
0.5 oz Simple Syrup
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 oz Fever Tree Ginger Beer

*Muddle strawberry, lemon juice, and simple syrup at the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add bourbon and bitters. Add ice and shake vigorously to chill. Double-strain into a collins glass filled with fresh ice. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with a lemon wheel and strawberry slice.
