Garden Party Buzz
This "Garden Party Buzz" is a delightful riff on the Bee's Knees–bringing in a unique pairing of rosemary and cardamom. This take on the beloved classic still keeps things light and bright, but also adds some herbaceous highlights and elements of warmth. And with this drink's simplicity of ingredients, by also pre-juicing your citrus into a Crew Bottle, you got yourself an easy libation to have on the menu for your next cocktail hour with friends.
Garden Party Buzz Recipe:
2 oz Gin
0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
0.5 oz Rosemary Honey Syrup*
2 Dashes of Cardamom Bitters
Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously to chill. Strain into a rocks glass over a fresh large ice cube. Garnish with a lemon wheel and a rosemary sprig.
*Rosemary Honey Syrup:
16 oz Honey
12 oz Filter Water
4-6 Rosemary Sprigs
Add everything in a small pot and bring it to boil. Then bring the heat down to low and let it simmer for 15 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Let it cool down completely, then strain into a clean Crew Bottle, and put it in the refrigerator. Good for about 4 weeks.
