Basil Gimlet

Ah, the Basil Gimlet. That herbal sour that’s won the heart of many. 🌿🤘🏻

BASIL GIMLET
2 oz Gin
1 oz Lime Juice
0.5 oz Simple Syrup
6 Basil Leaves (1 for garnish)

Muddle 5 basil leaves with simple syrup at the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add gin, lime juice, then ice. Shake vigorously to chill. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with remaining basil leaf.
